This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information when you use calchere.com, in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Bulgarian data protection law.

2. Data We Do Not Collect

All calculations are performed entirely in your browser using client-side JavaScript. We do not collect, store, or transmit any financial, health, or personal data you enter into our calculators — your loan amounts, salary figures, health metrics, and other inputs never leave your device and are never sent to our servers or any third party.

3. Data We Collect

We may collect the following information:

• Anonymous usage analytics (page views, device type, browser type, approximate location at country level) via Google Analytics, with IP anonymization enabled
• Language preference stored locally in your browser
• Technical data required for website delivery (IP address, request logs) via Vercel hosting, retained only as long as necessary for security and performance monitoring

4. Cookies

10. Data Retention

Since calculator inputs are never transmitted to us, there is nothing to retain in that respect. Anonymous analytics data collected via Google Analytics is retained according to Google's default retention settings (currently 14 months), after which it is automatically deleted. Server access logs from our hosting provider are retained only as long as necessary for security purposes, typically no longer than 30 days.

11. Children's Privacy

CalcHere is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Our calculators are general-purpose informational tools suitable for a general audience, but decisions based on their output (financial or health-related) should be made by, or with the involvement of, a parent or guardian for users under 18.
